An established law firm in Downtown San Diego is seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy Part-Time Legal Assistant. This role offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, adaptable, and ready to jump in with minimal training.
Location : Downtown San Diego, CA
Hours : 20-25 hours per week (flexibility on specific hours)
Starting Pay : $27-$35 per hour, DOE
Practice Areas : Litigation and Business Transaction Work
Key Responsibilities :
- E-filing, Redlining, and Calendaring : Handle electronic filing of legal documents, redline documents as needed, and manage the attorneys' calendars to ensure deadlines are met.
- Legal Administrative Duties : Quickly take on various administrative tasks, including document preparation, correspondence, and client communications with minimal supervision.
- Attorney Support : Provide comprehensive support to multiple attorneys, assisting with both litigation and business transaction work.
Qualifications :
- Prior experience in a legal assistant or administrative role within a law firm.
- Proficiency with e-filing systems, document management, and calendaring software.
- Strong understanding of legal procedures and administrative duties.
- Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn new software and tools.
