Clinical Supervisor (LCSW / LMFT) - Long Beach, CA

Employment Type : Full-Time

Work Hours : Monday - Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM (occasional weekends / on-call as needed)

Position Summary : We are seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to oversee clinical and case management operations for a dedicated team of mental health professionals. This leadership role involves both administrative and direct service responsibilities, including supervising staff, ensuring compliance with program requirements, and providing culturally competent therapy to individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide clinical and administrative supervision to approximately 8 supervisees, including licensed staff and interns
Conduct weekly individual and group supervision sessions
Review and approve clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans
Monitor clinical productivity and support staff in meeting utilization goals
Ensure compliance with documentation timelines (intakes, annual reviews, service plans)
Support clinical leadership and serve as backup for the Clinical Director as needed

Qualifications :

Licensed in California as an LCSW or LMFT (must be licensed for at least 2 years by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences)

Minimum of 3 years post-masters clinical experience

Previous supervisory experience with interns or clinical staff preferred

Familiarity with Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health procedures and documentation standards

Flexibility and a client-centered, trauma-informed approach
