Who you are :

The contractor’s main responsibility is to prospect and initiate new school relationships from a given target list of schools.

The contractor will be expected to work 10-15 schools per week. The goal is to initiate a conversation, get base-level interest, and then introduce the contact to the appropriate manager for HSSA, FYA / GYA, HAS program.

What you’ll do :

Working a school will entail :

• Initial research & updating of data in Salesforce. The contractor will be provided with a target school list.
• Identifying 5 contacts at the school for outreach.
• A high volume of calls and emails, following a provided outreach cadence.
• Use of LinkedIn, social media, and professional / personal networks to make community connections.
• Use RepVisits to book tabling events and school fairs. Focus this time of year will be High School Abroad, Gap Year Abroad, and First Year Abroad.
• Meticulous notes of outreach taken in Salesforce.
• Weekly reporting of sales activities and account movement.
• Book initial staff meetings for school contacts with appropriate managers. Shadow these meetings to hand off a relationship and learn the sales process and.

Time commitment : Commitment is for 12 weeks from August - October. Anticipated hours per week is approximately 40. Hours per week may vary and some evening or weekend hours may be required to cover events.

CIEE reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time.

Location Requirements :

The position is available to candidates in New Jersey or Connecticut, except for candidates residing in :

Jersey City, NJ
