Registered Investment Funds Associate – Chambers-Ranked Practice

About the Position :

Our client, an Am Law firm headquartered in Chicago, is actively seeking a corporate attorney with 3-6 years of registered investment funds experience to join its practice as an associate. The attorneys in this highly-regarded practice have experience in all types of investment company matters – from the start-up phase through ongoing management and regulatory issues. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established firm that strongly supports associates in their career development.

Responsibilities :

Advise registered investment companies and investment advisers on regulatory and compliance matters regarding federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933

Play a key role in transactions, including investment company reorganizations or mergers

Required Qualifications :

3-6 years of experience working with registered investment companies and investment advisers

Experience with regulatory and compliance matters regarding federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933

Experience with mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, ETFs, closed-end funds, and / or independent trustees and directors

Excellent academic credentials

Location : Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation :

The anticipated salary range for this position is $260,000 – $320,000.
