Job description-Infusion Nurse
This position involves providing in-home infusion services to patients. The employee will be provided with a company vehicle, gas card, laptop, and cell phone.
Job Description : We are in need of a registered nurse to administer specialty drugs through infusion. The primary drugs currently being infused include : Entyvio, IVIG, Ocrevus, Radicava, Stelara, Biosimilars, and Remicade.
Preferred location for candidates is in or near Greenville, NC.
Required Qualifications :
- Must hold an active nursing license in NC
- Recent experience in starting peripheral IVs and accessing implanted ports
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an intensive care unit or emergency department OR 2+ years of experience in home infusion of specialty drugs
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and self-directed
- Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Certifications :
- IgCN
- CRNI
Responsibilities :
- Administer specialty drugs through infusion
- Educate patients and teach them how to self-administer medications in their own homes
- Independently coordinate and manage schedule
- Collaborate with intake team to ensure timely delivery of drugs and supplies
