25003712 Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better Together Work location : Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093 Work hours : Full / Time Nights; (6 : 45P-7 : 15A) 3 Shifts per week; weekend and holiday requirements Float Pool Department Highlights Great opportunity to work in a variety of units Self-scheduling that helps with work / life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth Engaged leadership team Level II Trauma Four-Time Magnet Designated Facility The only AACN Beacon Gold Adult Intensive Care Unit in the DFW area Here's What You Need Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or Associate's degree in nursing required or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred 1 year of experience a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required 2 years of Progressive Stepdown, Progressive Care or Intermediate (Tele) Care experience as a Clinical Nurse highly preferred RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire required and CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
