We're looking for a Registered Nurse to join our St. Luke’s Children’s Cancer Institute (SLCCI) Pediatric Clinical Oncology team in Boise ! St.

Luke's Children's Hospital and St. Luke's Cancer Institute are partners in Idaho's only pediatric cancer program and only accredited hemophilia center!

Our St. Luke’s Cancer Institute clinics are MAGNET-certified, dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology / oncology treatment centers offering chemo / bio / and radiation therapies.

Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support;

cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives. St. Luke’s holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer program’s commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care.

What you can expect from this role

• Part-time (0.4 FTE) : 2 days a week 8-hour shifts *potential to increase to 3 days a week if desired
• Schedule : Wednesday & Friday, - no nights, weekends, or St. Luke’s observed holidays
• The Pediatric Oncology, Chemo Infusion RN provides hands on nursing care for Idaho’s Pediatric Oncology population by administering high-risk medications such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy in the chemotherapy infusion center
• Primary responsibilities include medical guidance, patient education, care coordination, and phone triage
• Cross train to triage and primary nurse areas
• Committed to delivering excellence in patient care by collaborating closely with providers, nurse navigators, pharmacists, patient financial advocates (PFAs), social workers, and other allied disciplines

Minimum qualifications for this role

• Education : Nursing Degree
• Experience : One (1) + years’ pediatric RN experience
• Licenses / Certifications : Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Health & Safety Institute
• Preferred : Two (2) + years of pediatric oncology RN experience, APHON chemotherapy / biotherapy provider course, and / or CPHON certification
