We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Commercial Therapeutics team in the NJ & Eastern PA Territory. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for building external relationships with recognized experts, HCPs, and prioritizing external stakeholders in the therapeutic area and integrated health care systems.

As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for executing on the strategic Marketing initiatives, presenting clinically focused sales messaging that resonates and compels potential and existing customers.

You will identify and develop relationships with key account leadership including C / D Suite, Clinical Decision Makers, Key Opinion Leaders, and other critical support staff.

Act as a point of contact with key decision makers at identified key accounts. Prioritize and execute key account opportunities to accelerate growth.

Collaborate with leadership to develop, educate, and implement therapeutic policies, processes, and protocols within the account, that pull through product sales.

Location : Philadelphia, PA, Secondary : New Jersey, Pennsylvania, near major airport, 50-75% travel.

Territory : NJ, Eastern PA

Your Main Responsibilities :

  • Drive adoption and deliver sales performance by proactively and continuously aspiring to serve customer needs and expectations.
  • Differentiating Revance value proposition within targeted accounts and creating a value ad partnership with all key stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze and use multiple data sets to drive activities and utilization of resources.
  • Ability to develop and execute individual account plans.
  • Continuously build understanding of market and customer needs and expectations and share that intelligence information with field peers, sales leadership and marketing in order to best optimize brand strategy and field execution.
  • Experienced in complex clinical, financial and organizational selling. Buy and Bill acquisition and reimbursement experience required.
  • Experienced in collaborating in the field with sales peers, field reimbursement teams and MSL teams.
  • Ability to complete all administrative tasks including call planning and reporting, expense reporting, and sample accountability reporting thoroughly and on time.
  • Comply with all state and federal healthcare laws and regulations. Need to obtain and compile with all institutional and state credentialing requirements.
  • Institutional credentialing required and ability to travel 50%-75% in geography, including weekends when needed for conferences and events.

What qualifications you need to be successful in this role :

  • Required
  • 5-7 years of Specialty Sales, Account Management and / or Institutional Sales experience in Life Science, Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry.
  • 3-5 years of complex access and reimbursement markets, Buy and Bill experience.
  • Ability to work and account plan cross functionally with internal partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in multiple sites of care and ability to tailor sales strategy to meet the business model of each site of care.
  • Experienced in complex reimbursement (Buy and Bill acquisition and reimbursement, broad payer and trade understanding).
  • High level account management experience.
  • Direct experience collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in forecasting and building attainable business plans.
  • Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding goals and objectives.
  • Required Education :
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field.

CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENT : An essential requirement of your position is to satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations that are in your assigned geographic territory.

You must also be in good standing and / or eligible to obtain these credentials. These HCIR credentialing requirements may include, but are not limited to, background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization / vaccination for various diseases, fingerprinting and specific licenses required by individual state or cities.
