Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, Inc. (BREIT) is a perpetual-life, institutional quality real estate investment platform that brings private real estate to income focused investors.

Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust (BREIT) Finance Net Asset Value ( NAV ) and Operations, Associate
In this role, the Associate will be responsible for ensuring the monthly property results are accurately reported, corporate level activity is recorded correctly, and for preparing the quarterly audit committee materials.
Responsibilities :
- Work directly with Blackstone Real Estate portfolio companies to review the accuracy of underlying monthly property results
- Ensure portfolio companies are appropriately accounting for capital expenditures at BREIT’s properties
- Coordinate with other groups and senior BREIT leadership to prepare the monthly NAV Prospectus Supplement and ensure it is filed with the SEC
- Liaise with the fund administrator to validate corporate level activity, including corporate level debt, offering costs, and corporate G&A
- Partner with others in BREIT Finance to strike the monthly NAV
- Work with senior members of the finance team to prepare quarterly materials for the audit committee of BREIT’s board of directors
- Produce the monthly distribution calculations and ensure the related Form 8-K is filed with the SEC
- Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects
Qualifications :
- BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance and CPA is required
- Experience with public REITs and historical-cost accounting is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment
- Highly organized and proactive
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic culture
- Detail oriented and possess strong work ethic; ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments; strong time management skills

Expected annual base salary range :
$105,000 - $140,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
