Number of Advanced Practice Providers : 1-2 Supervision of APP(s) expected : Yes Clinic Provider Daily Volume : ED Volume average 77 patients per day Job Responsibilities : ED Physician coverage EMR : Cerner Powerchart until June then EPIC Teaching Opportunity : teaching hospital Trauma Level 3 250 beds 33,000 annual visits Peak shifts / busiest is during 11a-11p Transfer out less than 3% of patients 60-90 days for privileging Ability to get them privileged quickly no lengthy work histories (cred staff goes back 10 years) - Required at name clear Board Certified ABEM / AOBEM - Required at name clear Clean background - Required, note at time of name clear Active IA License or IMLC - Required Fellowship Trained - Emergency Medicine ACLS & PALS are required through AHA; if ER boarded ACLS and PALS are waived; ATLS required for trauma privileges Availability - Required at time of presentation Must be available for night shifts
