Location : York New Salem, PA (examples of posting locations appear in the description). This role is part of the Data Governance & Cloud Transformation team, focused on helping organizations build governance frameworks and adopt data management practices.

Overview

As a Junior Data Governance Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and leading data governance initiatives across enterprise environments and coordinating with business and technical stakeholders to enable trusted data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and lead data governance initiatives across enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate with clients to build scalable governance platforms and ensure regulatory / compliance alignment.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and leadership to report on project status and governance outcomes.

What You'll Bring (Qualifications)

  • 5-6 years of experience working with data governance platforms.
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Collibra for data governance (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of AI Security frameworks such as NIST.
  • Good to have asset management skillset with data.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing project-level updates to leadership.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate across business and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and leadership presence.
  • Proven ability to design and implement governance best practices.

    • Compensation

    As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is : $90k-$110k base + bonus. The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Digital Services bonus / variable / commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
