We will offer the Covid-19 vaccination at no cost, via our Health Centers.

Serve as a Full-time transportation specialist for the children and families receiving services with Turning Points for Children;

a social service agency in Philadelphia and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities : are to include, but are not limited to :

Transportation of children to supervised visits at the agency and throughout Philadelphia. Additional transports may be needed for other appointments and judicial hearings.

Transports may also expand to Philadelphia suburbs as needed.

• Ensuring safe transport of children by adhering to speed limits and traffic laws
• Provide courteous service to children
• Use sound judgment while transporting clients
• Maintain transportation schedule to ensure timely arrival for all appointments for children and families
• Adhere to company policies and procedure with regard to incident reporting, mandated reporting for children, and all policies regarding employee conduct
• Must communicate with assigned case teams, visitation teams and other related parties when there are any barriers to completing transportation duties.

Skills :

• Able to maintain a calm demeanor while driving through high traffic areas
• Knowledge of multiple routes throughout the city of Philadelphia.
• Solid time management skills in transporting people to multiple drop off sites
• Professional composure while working with clients to ensure solid customer service and safety
• Knowledge of child development (necessary when picking up / dropping off children)
• Solid driving skills

Experience :

At least 3 years as a licensed driver, one year driving professionally preferred. A clean driving record.

Education Requirement :

At least a High School diploma / GED.

Salary :

$15 per hour
