Commercial Counsel Attorney

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to support its legal team on a remote contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

Review, draft, and negotiate vendor and procurement contracts, including SaaS and technology agreements

Advise on data privacy and security issues, including Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)

Negotiate AI-related provisions in vendor and data licensing contracts

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Minimum of 3 years of experience negotiating commercial contracts, preferably in technology or fintech

Experience with vendor agreements, SaaS contracts, and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)

Familiarity with privacy frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA is a plus

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
