Scope of Work :

We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy Capture Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Business Development, Capture, and Proposal teams to identify and pursue smaller, more profitable opportunities, as well as support our efforts in securing sole source contracts.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate from a business program with excellent research skills, proficiency in technology, and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities :

Market Research : Conduct in-depth research to identify potential business opportunities, market trends, and competitor analysis.

Provide regular reports and insights to the Business Development and Capture teams.

  • Lead Generation : Identify and qualify leads for sole source opportunities. Work with the Business Development team to nurture these leads and convert them into viable prospects.
  • Proposal Coordination : Assist in the coordination and preparation of proposals, including gathering and organizing information, writing, editing, and ensuring timely submission.
  • Data Management : Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client information in our CRM system. Ensure data is up to date and easily accessible for the team.
  • Executive Support : Assist executives with research for various purposes, such as trade shows, partner meetings, and prospective hires.

Compile background information and profiles to enhance decision-making.

  • Communication : Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and ensure clear and effective communication regarding leads and opportunities.
  • Continuous Learning : Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of research efforts.
  • Background Investigation :
  • Provide detailed reports to the appropriate stakeholders, highlighting any findings that may impact hiring decisions or client relationships.
  • Use the gathered information to help executives and management make informed decisions about potential hires and clients, contributing to our overall risk assessment and business strategy.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant, professional experience coordinating proposals or related documents for the Federal government.
  • Strong computer research skills and proficiency in using the latest technology and research tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of tribal values and communities.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet schedules.
  • Ability to work well in a team and meet tight deadlines in a fast page environment.
  • Ability to set schedules for proposal efforts and keep team on schedule.
  • Flexible schedule to work long hours including nights and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
  • Rudimentary graphic design skills (i.e., familiarity with Illustrator, Photoshop, et al) a plus.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
