Senior QA Engineer

• Quality Assurance :
• Lead the development and implementation of quality standards, processes, and procedures to ensure product compliance with customer requirements.
• Review and approve technical drawings, ensuring proper application of GD&T for manufacturability and inspection.
• Perform detailed inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis :
• Facilitate and lead 8D problem-solving activities , driving cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize 5Why’s analysis to investigate quality issues and develop robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) :
• Lead PPAP submissions to customers, ensuring all necessary documentation, sample parts, and inspection results are completed accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure their PPAP submissions meet quality expectations and resolve any non-conformances.
• Continuous Improvement :
• Implement process improvements to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase efficiency.
• Analyze data from production, quality reports, and customer feedback to recommend process adjustments.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the engineering team to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaboration :
• Work closely with manufacturing, design, and supplier teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure that corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Serve as the main point of contact for quality concerns, interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Documentation and Reporting :
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation for all quality activities, including control plans , FMEAs , and inspection reports.
• Generate and present quality performance reports, ensuring the management team is informed of key quality metrics.
