LHH is recruiting a legal executive assistant for a medical-legal office in Mayfield Heights. The legal executive assistant will work with the president of the company overseeing his schedule, meetings, presentations, trips, consultation engagements and other relevant activities.
There will be some crossover between personal business and arranging social issues and integrating company needs. The legal executive assistant will liaison with Office Administrator (OA) to coordinate examinations, paperwork, scheduling and activities;
and will assist in tasks delegated by the Office Administrator.
Responsibilities :
Scheduling conferences, depositions, trials and travel arrangements.
Occasional travel with company President.
Coordinate with OA activities and events.
Direct involvement with marketing of the company’s services and client development activities that may include client entertainment events, webinars / seminars, and various meetings.
Assisting in recruitment as directed by President; facilitates successful integration of new hires.
Under the aegis of OA, assisting with overall day-to-day office function, including facility management, vendor resources and interfacing with building management, cleaning company, building security and parking.
Responsible for managing the operational function of the office.
Under the aegis of OA, assisting with the compliance of the Company’s policies & procedures and the individual office’s procedures.
Under the aegis of OA, assisting with purchase of necessary office supplies, within the limits prescribed by the Firm’s budget for such expenditures.
Under the aegis of OA, assist with record policies including scanning and management of files.
Under the aegis of OA, assisting with aspects of employee development, including recruiting, hiring, new employee orientation, staff utilization, performance management and conflict resolution to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Implementation of the company’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance and corrective action, when necessary
Qualifications :
Experience working in a law firm, understand the legal world including depositions, trial scheduling and testimony, errata sheets and similar issues.
Experience in working with medical experts, record reviews and Independent Medical Evaluations, as well as Life Care Planning, Vocational Assessments, UCR reviews and similar related matters.
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
Up-to-date with the latest office apps, equipment and applications
Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Discretion and confidentiality
Ability to travel via private or public transportation, with occasional overnight or multi-night stays

Pay Details : $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
