Our Company :

Knight Electric, based in Justin, TX with offices in the Southeast US, is a National Electrical Services provider looking to grow our team.

We specialize in remodels, resets, ground-up construction as well as backup power systems in the Commercial industry.

About this role :

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Project Manager (PM) to join our team. The PM will direct personnel at all levels to successfully complete projects.

The ideal candidate must have previous field experience as an electrician, strong communication skills and ability to be tasked with multiple priorities.

Location :

Cumming, GA (in-office / travel)

Key Responsibilities :

• Communicate with all levels of stakeholders to advise and solve potential roadblocks to a project.
• Full ownership of projects from planning, scheduling, budget and closeout.
• Responsibilities to include hiring and retention of staff.
• Takeoff of materials and equipment; selecting, ordering and tracking
• Work with estimating and operations to read blueprints and provide interpretation
• Maintain budgets to ensure timeline and revenue targets are met
• Manage end-to-end permit creation, Certificates of Insurance (COI), and processing.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, employees, and partners to resolve related issues.
• Assist with various tasks to ensure project success.

Key Requirements :

• 6+ years managing projects in the electrical construction industry.
• Extensive experience with materials and equipment used in commercial electrical projects.
• Previous field experience in the electrical construction trade.
• Ability to travel, at times on short-notice and work nights / weekends at times.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills necessary as well as MS Office applications.
• Successful background in collaborating with customers, vendors, employees, and partners to solve related issues.
• Proficiency in software tools Bluebeam, Procore or similar in the electrical construction industry.

Compensation :

$100,000 - $150,000 annually plus bonus and highly competitive benefits based on experience.

Additional Information :

• Previous Journeyman or Masters License is preferred.
• Projects managed to include remodels or retrofits with big-box retail customers is preferred.
• Must comply with our Conduct and Appearance Standards, which reflect Company image.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to travel and work off-hours.
