Job Title : Project Manager

Location : San Antonio, TX - 4 days on site, 1 day remote
Client Type : Financial Services
Contract Length : 1 year (No opportunity of conversion to full-time)
Rate : $55 / hr. (potential for flexibility)
Overview :
We are seeking two experienced Project Managers to join our team to oversee and manage a variety of projects under the Enterprise Security Group, requiring a proactive and independent approach.
Responsibilities :
- Project Management : Oversee and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with other contractors and team members to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Communication : Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to provide rapid updates and hold team members accountable.
- Project Coordination : Coordinate efforts for physical security projects, application migrations, and technology movements, including zero trust initiatives.
- Vendor Management : Liaise with vendors for hardware and software implementations, ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Follow-Up : Regularly chase down application owners and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Agile / Waterfall Methodologies : Flexibly apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate for each project.
Key Projects :
- IAM Security Assistance : Support Identity and Access Management security projects as needed.
- Application Migration : Assist with the migration of applications from one location to another ensuring all tasks are completed within the set increment.
- Physical Security : Manage projects related to security guards and camera updates, including software implementation and vendor coordination.
- Technology Movement : Shepherd zero trust projects, ensuring rapid communication and accountability across all levels.
Requirements :
- Experience : Proven experience in managing broad scope projects and managing other Project Managers
- Independence : Ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding.
- Leadership : Capable of being a PM of PMs, establishing cadence and transparency within the team.
- Agile Understanding : Familiarity with Agile processes, though flexibility with methodologies is essential.
- Proactivity : Proactive in establishing communication and project management practices.
- Tools : Proficient in Excel and Wikis for status reporting. Flexibility with other tools as needed.
Preferred Traits :
- Tenacity : Strong communication skills from C-suite down, with a tenacious approach to holding people accountable.
- Technical Savvy : Comfortable working with engineering teams.
- Adaptability : Ability to handle both long-term, follow-up intensive projects and more challenging tasks.
