We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Agile Product Owner to join our cyber defense and response organization. As an Agile Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of our security operations center (SOC), vulnerability management solutions, and Application Security.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity analysts, engineers, and stakeholders, to define and prioritize product requirements, manage the product backlog, and ensure the successful delivery of our cyber defense solutions.

As a Product Owner you will maintain relationship with stakeholders, work with the support teams to understand the project and business priorities are established and achieved.

The Work Itself

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed, prioritized, and ready for development sprints.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity analysts and engineers, to ensure the successful delivery of product features and enhancements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the development team, providing clear and concise requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct regular planning, review, and retrospective meetings to ensure efficient and effective product development.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues or roadblocks.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to define the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cyber defense and response, incorporating them into product development processes.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an Agile Product Owner in a cyber defense and response organization.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including security operations center (SOC) and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified SAFe® Product Owner / Product Manager, are a plus.
