Price Erecting is looking for a Full-Time Project Manager / Estimator to join our team. This roll will perform a variety of tasks in relation to estimating, bidding, and managing construction projects from beginning to end.
Major Responsibilities
- Drive sales through the growth of existing clients and generate new business opportunities
- Prepare estimates of likely costs of materials, labor and equipment, and subcontractors for projects based on scope of work
- Once project is awarded, determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed and pass information along to the Superintendent
- Negotiate with external vendors on pricing and approve all purchases made for each project
- Work with accounting department to ensure project costs are on schedule and below budget
- Communicate with the customers to ensure each job exceeds company standards in safe and complete manner
- Maintain relationships with customers and venders
Required Education and Experience
- High School Graduate with some college preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Proficient in the use of a PC, Microsoft Office and some CAD experience
