Program Manager - Security Clearance Required

Overview This position is contingent upon contract award SOSi is currently seeking an experienced IT Program Manager oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects for our government clients in the Washington DC area.

You will be responsible for managing the scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks of multiple projects, as well as coordinating the work of project teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

  • You will also ensure compliance with government regulations, policies, and standards. Essential Job Duties Managing multiple contract operations, ensuring quality standards and work performance on all task orders and projects;
  • planning, organizing and overseeing work efforts; assigning resources; managing personnel; providing risk management; ensuring quality management;

monitoring overall project and contract performance. Ensuring senior level management within the client organization, is aware of overall program status, including all relevant projects and their potential impact on higher level organizational strategic vision, this may include subject matter and unique technical knowledge.

Experience applying management techniques, methods, theories, principles and labor relations concepts, sufficient to assure optimum utilization of personnel, equipment and space, and to accomplish program objectives through combined technical and administrative oversight;

Experience applying budget and fiscal methods used in establishing and maintaining contracts. Experience working on major programs segments, organizational structures and / or functional responsibilities.

Manage a team providing technical support around the clock 24 / 7 / 365. Lead a team of SME’s performing business functions supporting tools and technology which include, database support, data architecture and integration, ML / AI support and more.

Minimum Requirements Masters of Science in Computer Science or similar related degree. Minimum seven (7) years experience in providing oversight and executive level management to multiple programs / projects and manages relationships with senior level management within the client organization.

At least 5 years of IT Program Management experience preferably within the government sector. Capable of managing and controlling schedules and cost to provide on-time performance of all aspects of the contract within budget.

Excellent communication, presentation and customer interface skills Thorough understanding of AGILE methodologies. Proven experience managing technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications PMP preferred. Active in scope DoD secret security clearance is preferred or an ability to obtain a secret clearance.
