About The Position
Job Title : X-ray Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12H Days, Thursday-Friday, and every other weekend, 08 : 00-20 : 30 Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years License : License required prior to submission Certifications : ARRT RT (R), BLS Must-Have : - Ability to perform all General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and OR exams- Surgical experience necessary- Personal lead markers- Radiation badge required before starting assignment Job Description : Float between General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and Portables- Perform all General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, and ED exams- Average studies per day : 80-100 in a 24-hour period- Use EMR software : Epic and PACS software : Sectra- Operate department-specific equipment including GE and Shimadzu X-ray rooms, GE Fluoroscopy room, GE portables, and OEC C-Arms- No IV starting required, but skills are useful- Radiologist on-site 24 / 7- Some call may be required with a 45-minute response time- Scrubs : Any color as long as professional;
hospital scrubs provided for OR work- Department orientation typically during the first three days- Schedule posted at least two weeks in advance- Potential holiday requirement Additional Notes : This position does not require a BSN- Trauma level care setting : Acute- Department orientation typically during the first three days
