Provincial Senior Living is hiring a Division Marketing Manager to help support our West Coast communities.

This essential role is responsible for spearheading Provincial Senior Living community marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing lead generation, lead conversion, and community outreach to bolster occupancy growth.

Under the direction of the Sr. Marketing Brand Strategist, they will assist in executing collateral, advertising, direct mail, signage, special event plans, social media, reputation management, new marketing program materials, professional outreach marketing support and community communications.

The Division Marketing Manager is also responsible for having knowledge and insight into lead data / analysis / tracking, assisting with annual budgeting, tracking monthly expenses, and approving community invoices.

This position does not include direct reports.

Responsibilities :

  • Work with Sr. Brand Strategist and 3rd party agency(s) to develop creative and robust campaigns for all brand awareness, lead generation and lead conversion efforts
  • Become proficient in all Provincial Senior Living local markets, understanding the competitive landscape and target markets
  • Support the Sr. Brand Strategist with the development and execution of quarterly / annual community marketing plans
  • Meet ongoing lead generation goals tied to annual budgeted occupancy goals
  • Research local marketing, advertising, and media opportunities to support brand awareness and lead generation initiatives as well as engage and differentiate community product and service offerings
  • Coordinate and network local marketing activities and sponsorships within the greater community at large for developing brand awareness and name recognition
  • Partner with Sales to understand ongoing incentives / initiatives / objectives
  • Working with Sales and the communities, plan and execute special marketing events and support a Referral Outreach Program within the greater community.

Track, analyze and report on effectiveness

  • Maintain DSL brand standards across all Provincial Senior Living marketing
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of proprietary DSL marketing programs and support launching marketing at the local level
  • Support the Sr. Brand Strategist in managing all community marketing budgets including monthly spend allocations
  • Manage and approve all operating company marketing invoices. Track expenses in checkbook monthly and ensure all invoices are processed correctly, on time, troubleshooting any outstanding issues.
  • Own social media and community reviews :
  • Approve social media posts
  • Create / post social engagement content as needed
  • Post all events to Facebook
  • Respond to reviews and
  • Respond to questions on social media / GMB
  • Special projects coordination (ex. review campaign, resident referral contests)
  • Collect photos and testimonials for community websites
  • Manage community marketing promotional product orders
  • Partner monthly with other DSL Divisional Marketing Managers to share and brainstorm marketing lead generation, lead conversion and community outreach efforts to support occupancy growth
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing preferred with a minimum of five years of proven marketing experience
  • Minimum three years digital marketing experience including email and social media
  • Three years analysis and reporting experience
  • Experience developing short and long-term marketing strategies with traditional and non-traditional marketing channels, creating sales-driven messaging, overseeing creative development, and forecasting response
  • Strong presentation skills, proficient with Microsoft Power Point and Excel
  • Ability to track, analyze and report on ROI
  • Capacity to function in a fast-paced, environment
  • Experience with budget monitoring and management, and P & L reports
  • Ability to follow and take direction and feedback
  • Ability to build relationships and articulate ideas well
  • Excellent grammar, editing, proofing and copywriting skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail for precise analysis of data
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with teams and collaborate
  • Time management and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
