We invite you to apply to join our leadership team at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago team a Assistant Director of Housekeeping! The Assistant Director of Housekeeping is an essential member of our Rooms Division’s leadership team which is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.
We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ability to multitask and prioritize is also essential for this position.
The Assistant Director of Housekeeping is responsible for leading the dynamic Housekeeping Team to success of our goals.
Successful candidates will be a willing team player, comfortable with electronic systems and willing to take leadership roles in various areas of People, Product and Profit leadership.
Inspiring our talented team to perform at the best possible level will be a critical competency for this role’s success.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
Primary Responsibilities :
Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline employees and managers on the Housekeeping Team to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met;
short & long-range strategic planning for respective outlet operation.
- The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good employee and guests relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients and employees.
- Ensure excellent levels of cleanliness consistent with Four Seasons standards.
- Effectively utilize Four Seasons’ systems and platforms to create efficiency and maintain records effectively in a timely manner.
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control while ensuring standards are not compromised.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge and ability to operate various electronic systems.
- Service Passion for Luxury Hospitality
- Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.
