Title : Technical Sales Representative
Job Summary :
Located in Davenport, IA, the Technical Sales Representative position will cover the Northeast Iowa territory, including Iowa City and Quad Cities.
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in building customer relationships and providing pre-sale technical support.
Working closely with Application Engineers and Inside Sales, you will collaborate to identify and meet customer needs. Developing technical competence and application skills will be essential for recognizing opportunities for our products.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers through sales calls and product knowledge.
- Collaborate with application engineers to assist with the Demo process and provide solutions for customer applications.
Qualifications / Requirements :
We are seeking a committed individual with a strong sales personality and engineering mindset. The ideal candidate should have experience in identifying applications for automation products such as PLC's, Robotics, Sensors, Thermal Systems, Motion Control, AC Drives, Vision, and Bar Code.
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, preferably BSME or BSEE, is preferred. Industry-related experience of 3-5 years or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
$8 million territory with established accounts.

Compensation plan : base salary of $80,000 - $100,000 (negotiable) plus unlimited commission and bonus. Total annual potential earnings ranging from $100,000 to $250,000 or more.
