The Project Manager provides overall leadership and administration to the construction project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
This position is the main liaison between the customer and ABEL Construction.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managersEnforces company and project policiesMaintains close client interfaceEnsures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with contract and designManages budget and financial reporting throughout the projectUpdates schedule with support of subordinate managers, supervisors, and subcontractorsPerforms all functions and responsibilities in partnership with the company’s culture, corporate vision, ethics, and code of conductActs as company representative to develop new business opportunities and relationship with new and existing clientsProvides leadership to the project teamOverall coordination with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractorsManages and helps enforce Safety on a daily basisReviews new project opportunities and establishes estimatesContinuous subcontractor coordinationOversight of self-performed operationsQualifications and ExperienceFour-year engineering or construction degree preferred3 plus years of field experienceDesign Build experience a plusAdvanced management or technical training preferred.
Extensive experience in similar facility construction estimating and related functionsThorough knowledge of estimating, project management and construction managementExcellent organizational, supervision and decision making / problem solving skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
HH2, Plangrid, Procore and Timberline / Sage knowledge a plus
