Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Tech III for a 6-month contract assignment in Midland, TX. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in monitoring and performing routine diagnostic checks on automated systems, troubleshooting problems, and repairing issues to enhance efficiency and reduce human interaction.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor and perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues identified in automated systems to ensure smooth operation.
- Test, adjust, install, operate, maintain, and inspect computerized systems, robotic devices, and control systems.
- Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and workstation installations.
- Utilize skills in electronics, fluid power, mechanics, computers, and manufacturing processes to ensure optimal performance of automated systems.
Must-Have Skills / Experience :
- Proficiency in monitoring and performing diagnostic checks on automated systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing issues in automated systems.
- Strong background in testing, adjusting, installing, operating, maintaining, and inspecting computerized systems and robotic devices.
- Ability to maintain and repair control systems and manufacturing equipment.
- Extensive knowledge in electronics, fluid power, mechanics, computers, and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in automation technology or related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
