Neuro IR nurses assist with the following cases : stroke interventions, cerebral angiogram s and interventions associated with procedure, thrombectomies, circulating as the RN to assist during the case.

We have anesthesia coverage for majority of the Neuro IR cases. 2. Interventional Radiology (IR) cases : The IR nurse would give moderate sedation when needed and do any specimen collection with circulation working with the Interventionalist and IR tech.

We do organ biopsies, GI Bleeds, para s, Thora s, angiograms, Line placement, dialysis catheter (tunneled and non-tunneled), UFIE s as examples.
