Spherion is seeking a Maintenance Technician on 3rd shift for a fast-growing manufacturing facility. This highly innovative company is projected to expand production significantly in the next 3 years, and your maintenance experience will help ensure production efficiency and quality.
Highlights :Responsibilities :
- Coordinate the maintenance and repair tasks for production equipment
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and systems, make fixes if needed
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance on all machinery
- Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency
- Utilize precision measuring and testing tools to troubleshoot issues
- Dismantle equipment to remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools, and examine the form and texture of parts
- Using machine shop instrumentation and equipment to repair parts
- Maintain accurate records of completed work
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Adhere to all PPE and GMP requirements
Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of maintenance and machine experience required
- Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems
- Highly detail-oriented
- Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods
- Ability to lift to 75lbs and push up to 175lbs occasionally
- Low and high-voltage electrical experience preferred
- Sanitary welding knowledge is a plus
