Spherion is seeking a Maintenance Technician on 3rd shift for a fast-growing manufacturing facility. This highly innovative company is projected to expand production significantly in the next 3 years, and your maintenance experience will help ensure production efficiency and quality.

  • Schedule : Full-time, 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday, 10 : 00 pm to 6 : 00 am
  • Located in the greater Madison, WI area
  • Responsibilities :

    • Coordinate the maintenance and repair tasks for production equipment
    • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and systems, make fixes if needed
    • Plan and execute preventative maintenance on all machinery
    • Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency
    • Utilize precision measuring and testing tools to troubleshoot issues
    • Dismantle equipment to remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools, and examine the form and texture of parts
    • Using machine shop instrumentation and equipment to repair parts
    • Maintain accurate records of completed work
    • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
    • Adhere to all PPE and GMP requirements

    Qualifications :

    • 3-5 years of maintenance and machine experience required
    • Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems
    • Highly detail-oriented
    • Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods
    • Ability to lift to 75lbs and push up to 175lbs occasionally
    • Low and high-voltage electrical experience preferred
    • Sanitary welding knowledge is a plus
