Job Description
JOB SUMMARY : Paid Search Senior Specialist has 2+ years of experience in SEM. Healthcare and Pharmaceutical experience a plus.
They are responsible for supporting the team with ad copy, keyword, and audience development, keeping financials up-to-date, and reporting insights.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Analyze reports and identify opportunities for new campaigns.
- Think creatively, identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Configure, deploy, and optimize Google / Bing / YouTube campaigns.
- Craft Paid Search insights based on performance data & marketplace trends.
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Beginner Google and Bing Certified.
- Increase impression volume through keyword and content research with the SEO team.
- Understand the connection between SEM & SEO and actively work towards increasing site performance.
- Begin to learn Google Analytics and make the connection between front end site and SEM metrics.
- Help set strategy and goals while building an evolving plan to achieve results alongside Supervisors.
- Proactively communicate both positive and negative account performance to SEM leadership.
- Assist manager in ad-hoc data pulls for senior team members.
- Own Prisma entry for estimated and actual spending working closely with integrated planning.
- In-depth experience with Google and Bing Ads alongside 3rd party tools like SA360.
- Assist with reporting and data analysis by creating insights from engine and GA data.
- Provide implementation and optimization recommendations for new SEM campaigns.
- Owner of ad copy writing and development, keyword expansions, and ad extension deployment.
- Work with senior team members on developing full recommendations for media.
- Drive audience and geo targeting recommendations aligned or complementary to other paid media.
EDUCATION : A bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study is preferred.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS : Advanced Google and Bing Certified.
EXPERIENCE :
- 2+ years’ experience in SEM is required.
- 2+ years’ experience in Pharma / Healthcare / Wellness is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES :
- Develop strong understanding of condition, therapeutic area and competitive set, key deliverables and business objectives.
- Advanced understanding of Search metrics and how they are connected.
- Proficiency in computer skills needed to manage day-to-day workflow (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Communicates effectively & understands how to translate Paid Search vernacular into client digestible communications.
