Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of food.
- Set up food and supplies needed in assigned workstation for the next meal.
- Assemble meal trays accurately and attractively according to the planned menu, resident’s meal ticket, portion control, and food handling and sanitation codes.
- Assist in checking trays for appearance, accuracy, and completeness. Deliver / collect late trays.
- Report any resident comments or concerns to manager immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience with food preparation
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- Primary series of the COVID-19 vaccine required
