What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
- Provide technical support leadership in departmental research data strategies
- Lead the development of surveys / questionnaires and ePRO / eCOA applications
- Design and implement harmonized data models and database solutions for efficient data querying and visualization
- Monitor database performance and implement improvements for on-prem and cloud-based systems
- Mentor junior team members in data management systems and practices
What is Required (Qualifications) :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information science, clinical research, or related field required
- Minimum of 5+ progressive years of IT experience, including strong database design and data architecture
- Extensive experience in Microsoft Access, SQL Server, and other relational databases
- Some experience creating dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g., PBI, Tableau, Qlik)
- Proven performance in earlier role or comparable role
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred
- Experience with regulatory requirements and standards as applicable
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and Visual Basic for Applications
- Some experience in Master Data Management and Data Dictionary Standards
- Experience in a clinical data and reporting environment
