Associate, QA Automation Engineer

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks an Associate, QA Automation Engineer in Chicago, IL

Work on the software functional testing strategy of application including analysis and estimate stories, write and execute test plans, evaluate and execute regression tests, and support production releases.

Work closely with software product. Identify, prioritize, and automate appropriate test cases. Participate in the functional, integration and regression testing of the software application.

Work with development teams to discover, analyze, write, retest and close defects as they arise. Work with Quality Assurance teams.

Set up and maintain QA environments such as setting up configuration, and application deployments. Monitor, plan, and execute test activities and task.

Execute and troubleshoot of automation test cases.

Salary

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $135,000.00 and $135,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment.

However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Software Engineer, Technology Consultant, Testing Engineer or a related occupation.

Requires five 5 years of experience with : Test Automation; Selenium Web Driver; Java; Page Object Model; Junit; Maven; GIT;

REST API; SDLC or STLC; Agile; UNIX; Windows; Linux; Bamboo; Jenkins; JIRA; Confluence; Cucumber BDD; Hybrid; Junit; and TestNG.

Requires any amount of experience with : Python; SVN; macOS; Gradle; and Ansible.
