What You’ll Get to Do :

CACI is seeking a Business Process Consultant to provide process improvement support to Shipyard teams and programs for our government customers at Washington Navy Yard (WNY).

You will support NAVSEA 04XT Industrial Operation Transformation, to include facilitation, data analytics, portfolio management, and business operations.

You will manage communications, customer expectations, and delivery of work products while providing this support.

More About the Role :

Facilitate and lead planning, execution, and close-out actions for routine in-person meetings, teleconference meetings, and strategic off-site meetings.

Enhance the methods, tools, effectiveness, and outcomes of NAVSEA 04XT Industrial Operation Transformation and ensure alignment with corporate initiatives.

Support Command strategic and tactical initiatives through portfolio management, action tracking, and return on investment calculation and monitoring.

Analyze and assess program activities and initiatives, projected results and actual outcomes, participant engagement, team effectiveness, metrics, and risk factors.

Provide tools and methods to aid decision making, program management, and action planning.

Support local and corporate Working Groups & Communities of Practice.

Provide technical and logistical support, along with training and facilitation services, to increase individual and team competency within local teams.

Foster an open exchange of ideas and best management practices; build business acumen and relationships; and enhance the professional knowledge, skills, and abilities of Shipyard personnel at all levels of the Command.

Provide consultation, coordination, and multi-media communication, as needed, to accomplish or assist with overall task management.

Support / interface with customers via face to face, telephone, video conferencing, email, chat, and applicable online presence.

Support the execution of contract requirements, which may include timely completion of written reports and submission of supporting data and metrics.

Other duties as assigned.

Work independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.

Work site is primarily on the customer site; on occasion at the CACI site or home site (with prior arrangements).

Physical Demands : Normal demands associated with a Shipyard office environment, including ability to work on a computer for long periods.

Work may sometimes be in an active industrial environment that may require walking long distances carrying backpack filled with work materials (and transporting materials, supplies as needed).

Ability to lift / carry up to 40 lbs.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications :

Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Interim Secret security clearance and subsequent final DoD Secret security clearance.

Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum 3 years of experience facilitating Continuous Process Improvement initiatives.

Demonstrated project management and facilitation skills.

Experience facilitating meetings attended by senior leadership.

Training and experience in Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, Shingo, or Theory of Constraints.

Experience conducting detailed data analysis.

Demonstrated proficiency in facilitation support and the preparation, selection, organization, and presentation of information in a concise and coherent manner.

Willingness and ability to experiment and innovate new approaches to provide the highest caliber service to our customers.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with customers at all levels of the organization in a professional, effective manner.

Strong customer service orientation. Respectfully engage customers in a manner that achieves successful outcomes.

Ability to organize work efficiently and manage time effectively.

Ability to perform successfully both independently and as a team member in a demanding work environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have :

Previous military service or previous work experience at a Naval Shipyard.

Certification in Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, Shingo, or Theory of Constraints.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

$60,100 - $123,300
