Summary

Responsible for developing lesson plans, day to day operational activities for the classroom, teaching and evaluating students, and preparing them for Kindergarten. Must understand cognitive, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development to ensure a stimulating and safe environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. Position may start as assistant and then take over lead.

Duties

lesson plans, parent communication, evaluations, centers, appropriate classroom activities, basic hygiene for kids and classroom, recess, and meal times

Requirements

Credential : CDA, TCC, AS or BS Degree in Early childhood or related field of study

Background check

CPR / First Aid training

Health and Safety Orientation training (10 hr version)

10 hours annual training
