What we're seeking :

The Enterprise AI / ML Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure AI / ML solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to integrate AI and ML technologies into the enterprise architecture.

The Enterprise AI / ML Architect ensures that AI / ML initiatives are effectively governed, scalable, and deliver tangible business value.

In this remote role, you will be expected to collaborate with peers as required but can work anywhere in the contiguous United States.

What we need in you :

We need a solid team player with enterprise level Architect experience and a background in advanced data analytics, machine learning models and artificial intelligence solutions.

You will have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical aspects to the next level and an understanding of the business impact.

What you'll do :

1. Architectural Design and Strategy :

  • Develop and maintain the overall AI / ML architecture for the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
  • Design scalable, robust, and secure AI / ML solutions that integrate with existing enterprise systems and data infrastructure.
  • Create and document architectural blueprints, standards, and guidelines for AI / ML projects.

2. Technical Leadership :

  • Lead the selection and evaluation of AI / ML technologies, frameworks, and tools that best meet business needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software developers.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in AI / ML technologies and recommend their adoption where beneficial.

3. Solution Development :

  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build, train, and deploy AI / ML models.
  • Ensure the AI / ML models are production-ready, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI / ML projects, from ideation to deployment and monitoring.

4. Data Management :

  • Work with data architects and data engineers to design and optimize data pipelines and workflows for AI / ML use cases.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are met for all AI / ML initiatives.
  • Implement data preprocessing and feature engineering practices to enhance model performance.

5. Integration and Deployment :

  • Develop strategies for integrating AI / ML solutions with enterprise applications and platforms.
  • Implement CI / CD pipelines for AI / ML models to ensure smooth and automated deployment processes.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of AI / ML models in production.

6. Governance and Compliance :

  • Establish governance frameworks for AI / ML projects to ensure ethical use, transparency, and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) in all AI / ML implementations.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of AI / ML systems to ensure they meet organizational standards and policies.

7. Stakeholder Collaboration :

  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify AI / ML opportunities that drive business value.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for AI / ML projects.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

  • Salary Range : $52,000 - $163,000
  • 20 PTO (Paid Time Off) days + 10 paid holidays per year

What background you should have :

Education :

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in AI / ML are preferred.

Experience :

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in AI / ML, data science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of designing and deploying large-scale AI / ML solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI / ML services.

Technical Skills :

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or Scala.
  • Strong understanding of AI / ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Experience with data engineering tools and platforms (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka, RedPanda, Hadoop, etc).
