As a Pet Care Specialist at Heartstrings Pet Hospice, you will be the heart and soul of our mission. You will serve as the primary point of contact for families reaching out to our practice, guiding them through every step of the process with empathy and understanding.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring that each interaction is filled with compassion and respect, addressing the unique needs of every family we serve.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as the initial point of contact for families seeking our services.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to families throughout the euthanasia and aftercare process.

• Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions and services provided.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

• Attention to Detail : High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, ensuring seamless and precise service delivery.
• Comfort with Technology : Must be comfortable utilizing the internet and programs such as Gmail, Google Calendar, and web-based communication platforms.

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to custom software is essential.

Preferred Experience : Previous experience in customer service and front-line practice animal care is always preferred, as it enhances the ability to provide empathetic and informed support to families and pets.
