Sr Analytics Engineer - Fleet Management

Job Description Summary

The Sr Analytics Engineer will be responsible for the development and the deployment of physic-based analytics relative a turbofan engine to be incorporated into processes / products driving business and customer decisions.

The Sr Analytics Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals / programs / processes for an area or business segment.

Has the experience or expertise to solve problems. Able to develop and execute objectives for self and others. This role has the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop analytic models to drive productivity, support field issues and improve engine removal predictability.
• Further the state-of-the-art in the area of physics-based analytics and data science
• Incorporate analytics and environmental impacts within engine testing to improve understanding of design change impacts and fielded durability expectations.
• Execute with limited guidance the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements.
• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned individual and team projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
• Provide technical leadership to personnel / cross functional teams supporting the assigned project.
• Implement plans with guidance to meet technical requirements of assigned components and systems.
• Develop action plans with guidance to respond to issues / problems.
• Lead or participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues.
• Recommend, with guidance, the approach to meet the technical and program requirements.
• Participate and present or review in technical and program reviews.
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and / or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in data analytics / digital technolog

• Aptitude for the use of complex software applications, abstract concepts, use of data
• Demonstrated ability to work within a small, collaborative project team
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
