Position Overview :
- Role : Full-Time Paraprofessional
- Location : Near Redford, MI
Responsibilities :
- Assist classroom teachers in providing support and assistance to students with diverse learning needs.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the guidance of certified teachers.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students, as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Support students with academic tasks, behavior management, and daily living skills.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
- Ability to pass background check and obtain required state and local certifications.
