Wastewater Treatment Lab Supervisor

Baxter Talent is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Lab Supervisor for an aerospace parts manufacturer near Dallas / Fort Worth, TX.

About the Role This position leads all lab and wastewater treatment operations , ensuring compliance with environmental and quality standards.

You’ll oversee testing, team leadership, training, and continuous improvement initiatives, all while supporting a strong company culture and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day lab and wastewater treatment operations Conduct and oversee chemical titrations and tank maintenance Ensure compliance with city, state, and federal regulations (TCEQ, EPA) Train and mentor lab staff and wastewater technicians Lead departmental hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in lab processes Maintain lab safety, documentation, and QA / QC standards Collaborate across departments to optimize environmental performance Serve as the technical lead on lab and treatment issues Promote a positive, respectful team culture What We’re Looking For Required :

• High school diploma or GED 10+ years of experience in metal finishing waste treatment and / or lab work Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or lab environment Strong knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment processes Must pass background check and drug screening Preferred : Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field 5+ years in a supervisory or management role Experience with continuous improvement project management Familiarity with TPDES permitting and lab safety standards (OSHA) Work Schedule & Physical Demands Monday–Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM Occasional evenings / weekends as needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance), climb ladders, and work in confined spaces Hearing / vision within normal range (with or without correction) Powered by JazzHR
