About The Position
Job Title : Physical Therapist Job Specialty : Inpatient Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day - 4x10 - Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 5 pm Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Willing to wait for license submission Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) Must-Have : Experience in post-acute care settings Job Description : Provide physical therapy assistance in an inpatient setting.
- Collaborate with physical therapists to develop treatment plans.- Implement treatment programs that improve patient mobility and strength.
- Utilize and document patient progress using the Allscripts - Sunrise charting system.- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients to ensure optimal care.- Prepare and maintain patient records and reports.
- Attend and participate in department meetings or training sessions as required.
