Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant to support our distinguished Litigation Practice Group. This role offers an exciting and prestigious opportunity for a top-performing professional to contribute to high-stakes cases and work alongside some of the most accomplished legal minds in the industry. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and resourceful individual with a passion for litigation and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys with the preparation and management of litigation cases from inception through resolution.
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence.
- Conduct thorough legal research and compile data to support case strategies.
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and trial dates, and manage attorneys' calendars.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to facilitate case progress.
- Handle electronic court filings and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
