Job Title : Clinic Nurse (LPN or RN)
FLSA Status : Exempt
Sign-On Bonus : $3,000; no relocation package is currently offered
Location : Senior TLC Center – Shelby, NC
Position Summary : The Clinic Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our senior patient population. This position focuses on individualized nursing care, patient safety, and clinical excellence. The Clinic Nurse collaborates with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to develop and implement care plans tailored to each participant’s needs. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, documentation, and coordination of services to promote optimal health outcomes and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, medical history, and current health status
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team for timely intervention
- Educate patients and families on health management, medication adherence, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Coordinate appointments, referrals, and follow-up care to ensure continuity of services
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development activities

Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in North CarolinaGraduation from an accredited nursing programBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationAt least one year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in geriatric or outpatient careSolid understanding of nursing principles, patient care standards, and healthcare regulationsPreferred Qualifications :
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Experience in geriatric or senior-focused clinical settingsAdvanced certifications (e.g., Geriatric Nursing Certification)Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systemsStrong communication and interpersonal skills for working with elderly patients and familiesHealth Requirements :
Must be medically cleared for communicable diseases and up-to-date on immunizationsMust be able to provide care to adult and geriatric populations
