Marymount School seeks an experienced religious studies teacher to teach three sections of 11th grade Scripture beginning in fall 2024.
Candidates should be passionate about imparting an education grounded in Catholic Social Teaching to girls from various faith traditions.
An ideal candidate is a compassionate teacher who operates within the framework of Catholic social teaching and who takes the initiative to address pastoral care concerns.
Proficiency with technology, a commitment to equity in teaching practices, and a flexible mindset are essential.
We seek candidates with the following qualifications :
- Master’s degree in theology, divinity, or equivalent, (with solid basis in Hebrew and Christian Scriptures)
- Experience teaching religion (Upper School preferred)
- Ability to differentiate and vary instructional methods
