Role : : Senior Financial Management Analyst
Location : Hybrid. Two days at our Leesburg, VA office, one day potentially in DC, and two days remote.
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Public Trust Clearance

Key Responsibilities :
- Manage Federal programs / projects involving reconciliations, Governmentwide Treasury Account Symbol (GTAS), Journal Vouchers (JVs), IPAC, intragovernmental transactions, capitalization, depreciation, and financial statements.
- Conduct recurring and special-purpose reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and prepare federal financial reports, statements, and related documentation per prescribed formats to meet reporting requirements established by Treasury, OMB, and other accounting authorities
- Prepare annual financial statements following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), encompassing disclosures, footnotes, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain clear audit trails from the general ledger to subsidiary records and from the accounting system to interfacing management systems.
- Works collaboratively and leads as a subject matter expert within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria.
- Manage client initiatives, including resource management, executive readouts, project plans, activity management, and gateway communication.
- Set priorities, meet deadlines, and make decisions affecting the project.
Skills Required :
- 8+ years of total experience supporting various organizations, including relevant federal financial experience.
- At least 3 to 5 years of resolving accounting errors and submitting accounting data within TIER, CARS, or GTAS.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting a federal financial management division.
- Minimum of 3 plus years’ experience that shows proficiency and understanding of federal financial management processes and requirements such as sub-ledger and general ledger activity, Journal Vouchers (JVs), reconciliations, accruals, payment certifications, IPAC, invoicing, depreciation, financial statements, etc.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in supervisory principles and practices to direct, review, and evaluate the work of subordinate personnel.
The candidate must be capable of planning, directing, and coordinating the work of the technical staff
- PMP or CGFM certification is a plus.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Public Trust Clearance
