Are you a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) seeking an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives?

Requirements :

• Documented TB vaccinations
• Hepatitis B vaccinations
• Yearly flu vaccine
• Current BLS Certification
• Reliable transportation
• Valid Georgia car insurance

Position Details :

• Competitive salaries
• Part-time and PRN positions available
• Hospice experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities :

As an LPN at Majestic Hospice and Palliative Care, your responsibilities will include :

• Accurately recording a patient's medical history
• Taking and recording measurements of vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
• Observing patients under treatment to identify side-effects of medications and other potential issues
• Monitoring patients' condition, including fluid intake and output, and maintaining patient charts
• Assisting patients with daily activities such as eating and bathing
• Administering injections, prescribed medications, enemas, and other basic medical care tasks
• Providing emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicating with patients' families or friends to offer advice and comfort instructions

Skills :

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills :

• Proven experience as an LPN or in a similar role
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• Proficiency in MS Office and data entry
• Excellent physical condition and stamina
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion and the ability to handle stress effectively
• Successful completion of an LPN license program is a must
