Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with home health and OASIS experience for a day shift Home Health assignment requiring a VA or compact license.

Responsibilities

Home health setting serving adult patients in the community

Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with every fourth weekend rotation

Assignments are 5x8 hour shifts from 8 : 00 to 16 : 00

Floating may be requested based on facility needs

Uses Epic for documentation

Main responsibilities include providing nursing care, assessments, and case management in the home health setting

Limited RTO; no requests for a full week off during assignment and no more than seven days total

Prior permanent employees must be separated for at least six months before being eligible for travel positions

Locals are accepted at the same rate

First time travelers considered

Every manager conducts candidate interviews

Requirements

Active VA RN license or compact RN license in hand

Current BLS certification required

Home health experience with proficiency in OASIS

Specialty experience within the last year required

Epic charting experience required

One supervisory reference required for consideration; two references needed for compliance

SSN and copy of driver’s license required for consideration
