Role Overview :
A behavioral health organization is seeking an experienced Child & Family Therapist for a 6-month assignment providing care within their youth residential treatment program.
Leveraging trauma-informed expertise, the ideal candidate will lead individual and group therapy, partner with care teams, and help clients heal.
Compensation : $28.00 - $35.00 / HR
Location : Montgomery County, Pennsylvania
Schedule : Tuesday - Friday from 10 am – 8 pm
Responsibilities :
149; Conducting individual and family therapy
149; Consulting with multidisciplinary treatment teams
149; Developing customized treatment plans
149; Documenting timely clinical notes
149; Educating staff on therapeutic frameworks
149; Responding to crisis situations
149; Testifying in court proceedings
149; Coordinating care with community providers
Qualifications :
149; Master’s degree in social work or counseling
149; 2+ years’ experience with seriously emotionally disturbed youth
149; Knowledge of trauma-focused modalities
149; Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
149; Collaborative team player
149; Certification in TF-CBT, CBT preferred
