Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Subcontracts Administrator to support both government and commercial programs. This role focuses on the day-to-day administration of subcontract agreements - ensuring compliance, monitoring performance, processing modifications, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Subcontracts Administrator will collaborate closely with program management, contracts, procurement, and finance teams to support successful program execution.

This position reports directly to the Director of Contracts.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Administer subcontracts from award through closeout.
  • Process subcontract modifications, extensions, and funding changes.
  • Track deliverables, funding, and invoices to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready subcontract files.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and support evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR / DFARS (for government contracts) and adapt practices for commercial contracts.
  • Act as the main point of contact for subcontract administration matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Contracts, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5+ years of subcontract administration experience (government & commercial).
  • Working knowledge of FAR / DFARS and subcontract flow-downs.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with contract / subcontract management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Preferred

  • NCMA certification (CCCM or CFCM).
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial programs.
  • Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, and export compliance.
  • Location : Remote

    Reports To : Director of Program Management

    Salary : $66,800 - $111,400
