We are in search of a Business Systems Analyst in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role involves strategic business planning and coordination across various business areas, with a focus on organizational readiness to drive successful outcomes.
The position is remote and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Update strategic planning templates and communications to ensure clear business goals.
- Collaborate with management to update strategic initiatives and assigned strategic dashboards / tracking mechanisms.
- Support strategic planning processes priorities capabilities measures of success etc., ensuring timely inputs / outputs.
- Identify integrations and establish contacts across the organization to align efforts and plan implementation.
- Assist with escalated issues on priorities goals strategies resources and key initiatives to ensure efficient resolution.
- Prepare presentations for delivery to specific audiences, tailoring content to audience needs and understanding.
- Coordinate input from leaders across assigned business area to document holistic business cases, including impacts and end-to-end needs.
- Use your communication, planning, project management, and implementation skills to influence others towards strategic goals.
- Apply your knowledge of insurance and financial services to analyze and solve strategic planning issues.
- Use project management tools and MS Office tools to manage and track strategic planning tasks.
- Demonstrable experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong proficiency in creating dashboards and templates
- Proven expertise in planning, project management, and strategic planning
- Knowledge and experience in the insurance and financial services sectors
- Proficient in workstation support, system implementation, and integration
- Ability to prepare presentations and communicate key initiatives effectively
- Experience in QA management and understanding of NIS
- Proficiency in creating and implementing strategic goals and tactics
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong ability to prepare and present business plans
- Proficient in handling financial notes and related documentation
- Knowledge of business systems and their management is required.
